Fushipoke & Ramen

This was the third poke bowl place I tried in Sarasota, and although the price is a bit higher than others, it totally makes sense considering the quality and the fact that it’s located in downtown Sarasota. The tuna is fresh, the salmon is fresh, and you can actually see the fish quality, with whole fish displayed in the fridge, which makes a huge difference and builds real trust. I also want to highlight Aldo, who was working the front. I usually don’t mention names in reviews, especially since people tend to do that only when leaving negative feedback, but great service deserves to be recognized. Aldo was extremely polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain the sauces, shared which ones are customer favorites, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. If you work with the public, this is exactly the kind of person you want representing your business. Unfortunately, in some places around Sarasota, you walk in and no one even says hello, it almost feels like they’re doing you a favor. That was definitely not the case here. I truly believe we should praise good experiences more often. If I were reading this review, I would absolutely come back — and I definitely will. Highly recommend.

Our Ramen Go-To Spot downtown!! We go to Fushipoke often and always have a good experience. It’s fast, self-service style, perfect for when you want something good without a long wait. The tonkatsu ramen is a favorite for us, broth is thick and flavorful, we always enjoy the Pork belly, the poke bowls have lots of fresh options so you can build your own and baos (Shrimp and pork belly) are all very tasty and cook fresh. The vibe is colorful and relaxed, with fun decorations, paper lanterns and pretty cherry blossom trees make the place feel fun and colorful. kids love playing the board games while waiting for the food. We also love the fresh lemon water and the little condiments area where you can grab whatever you need. They have a wall full of Asian snacks, candy, and drinks you can buy, the kids always find something fun to take home. You order at the counter, and the staff (who are always super friendly, polite, and helpful) brings your food to your table when it’s ready. After you eat, you bus your own table, keeping the whole vibe casual and chill. They also offer different flavors of sake, which is a nice bonus if you’re in the mood for something extra. Prices have gone up recently, but still worth it with the quality of the food, good service, and the convenient location. Definitely a good fast option for Ramen and Asian flavors in downtown Sarasota!

Had lunch with few friends yesterday at FushiPoke. Me and my husband had poke many times from Hawaii to Virginia, Pennsylvania and Jersey. But our friends was their first time trying out poke. So they were asking us for guidance whats good to order. 4 of us ordered poke bowl, I got myself a tonkatsu ramen. All of them really enjoyed the poke bowl including me and my husband. Just wishing they were putting 1-2 more topping items included to the each bowl instead extra charged. For my ramen, I didn’t really like the broth. I ate all the ramen but not the broth. The crew was welcoming and patience dealing with all of us.

This place is amazing ! Delicious tasty food, generous portions, fresh ingredients and very friendly and patient staff. Air conditioned nook for a quick meal or a feast. Simply incredible. Would eat here 365 days a year. Thank you

Had the build your own Poke Bowl with fresh tuna and choice of toppings. Order at the counter and employees were helpful and gave great suggestions! Food was delicious and great portion size. They also have a fun assortment of sodas and drinks to choose from next to the counter. Will be back!

My wife’s all time favorite ramen. A rare vegetarian/vegan friendly ramen that has her asking me to come here weekly. The poke is always great but the new fried rice is Aside from the food, Aldo, Christian and the team are always so kind and offering the best vibes. We love this place.
